Located high in the Rocky Mountains near Aspen, Colorado, Maroon Lake is one of the most visited locations in Colorado. Standing at over 14,000 feet tall, the Maroon Bells are among the 54 "fourteeners" high altitude mountain peaks in the state, the most in the contiguous United States. After the fall peak season, the crowd dies down as winter approaches allowing for a relaxing moment in one of America's iconic scenic locations.
