The Mt. Wilson Observatory is an astronomy observatory located in the San Gabriel Mountains high above the city of Pasadena, California and northeast of Los Angeles. The 60 inch George Hale Solar Telescope, a National Historic Landmark, is the largest in the world available to the public for viewing of interstellar space objects.
