Canyon Road is a historical street in Santa Fe, New Mexico that dates back to 1610. The oldest adobe houses on Canyon Road date back to at least 1750. The street has been an artist colony mecca since the 1880's, and is a major reason why small town Santa Fe has the third largest art community in the United States.
