Named after the appearance of the grass blowing while in the ever-present Cental Valley wind, the Wind Wolves Preserve is a 97,000 acre parcel of land that is owned by the Wildlands Conservancy. Acquired in the mid-1990's, the Wind Wolves Preserve is the largest non-profit wilderness preserve on the West Coast.
