Male Elephant Seals Fighting on Beach with One Showing Visible Wounds, Point Piedras Blancas, California

Elephant seals fighting on the beach at Point Piedras Blancas is not an unusual sight but this particular sequence was interesting to me because the seal on the left had some big wounds on its neck. Pretty gruesome stuff with the pink meat hanging out like that.
