These were images I made during my first day with the Fuji XE-1 camera along with the 18-55mm f2.8-4 lens. I fumbled around like a complete noob. I had never felt so inexperienced at photography before but I did manage to get off a few frames worth of sharing. 🙂 One thing I have noticed is that the images when focused properly are very sharp, on a kit lens no less. Wow. I’ve been waiting for a travel camera that is compact enough to carry all day without drawing attention from street thugs and yet produces images acceptable for stock photo submissions. The Fuji XE-1 is it. More to come later when I have more time to work with the camera.
