Mammoth Lakes Scenic Vista (Caption Help Needed)

Mammoth Lakes Scenic Vista
I’ve had this and another unprocessed photo sitting on my computer for six months now because I haven’t been able to track down the name of this location. This scenic vista was taken from the waterfall bridge on the Mammoth Lakes Loop. I don’t recall the name of the bridge nor know what the valley below is called so I thought I would put the question out here on the photo blog in case any of you have spent some time in the Eastern Sierras.
Thanks!
See more of my Eastern Sierra pictures.

Before I ever knew anything beyond the snow and a barren mountain top of Mammoth I bought a post card from this view. Twin Lakes is what you’re looking at. Thanks for sparking up an old memory of the scenery there before I had the desire to check it out on my own.

Thanks Steve! I’ll look it up to verify. Now that you mention it, I’m curious to see what it’s like from below as well.

Looks like Twin Lakes to me, from the Lake Mary road above Twin Lakes.

Thanks Phil.

Great shot, Richard. Remembers me of my trip to Mammoth Lakes back in summer 2003. And guess what – I have done a shot from exactly the same location back then! Co-incidence? Or separated at birth?
I also blogged about this here:

Thanks Mark. It is definitely a great vista.
