It’s an interesting feeling as a landscape photographer to know when you’re standing amidst the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen. This was probably the 4th time I had ever been to Moraine Lake but I had never seen the classic blue waters that the lake is famous for. As a landscape photographer it’s easy to get caught up with only shooting sunrise or sunset light at the expense of truly seeing nature at it’s most beautiful. With the Canadian Rockies, it’s all about the beautiful blue and turquoise glacial-fed lakes and rivers.
