San Francisco Bay Area Scenic View from Berkeley Hills, Berkeley, California

After eight long years away, I’m moving back up to the San Francisco Bay Area. When I previously lived up there, I was still a student so it will be interesting to experience life as an “adult” this time. I’ll be hopping back and forth between here and L.A. for a bit until I can sell the house and Samantha graduates from pharmacy school next month. Truthfully, I had nothing else to say with my Southern California photography and felt like my explorations of Northern California was just the first chapter of a book so it was time to change things up. I’m not getting any younger.

Although the Bay Area isn’t exactly new to me, I didn’t grow up there either, so I’ve always seen it with a fresh eye. Just don’t expect to see a ton of Golden Gate Bridge pictures now. I’d call it cliche but that would be an understatement. πŸ™‚

  1. Great shot Richard. Having lived my entire life in southern California I also feel like there is so much to explore in the northern half of the state. Best of luck with the move and enjoy your new home!

  2. I look forward to seeing you up here Richard.
BTW that GGB is like a black hole for cameras. You’ll find your camera facing toward it no matter what. It’s an irresistible force.
