Pasadena City Hall View from Euclid Avenue

Euclid Avenue Sunrise View of Pasadena City Hall, Pasadena, California

Pasadena City Hall is undoubtedly a beautiful building but the biggest challenge in photographing it is the amount of cars and people (generally tourists and wedding photographers) in front of it off the more commonly viewed Garfield Avenue side. It doesn’t help that the best light from Garfield Avenue is at sunset; when there are always cars and pedestrians on the streets. The Euclid Avenue side faces the sunrise though and is not a heavily trafficked street so it is easier to photograph without people and cars in the frame.

I like the placement of the reflection. That ought to be a good stock photo.

Thanks David. Yeah I was imagining this as a cover as I shot this. That would be cool.
