I recently went to Portugal and Spain to photograph and hike the Camino de Santiago. The first few days of the trip were spent in Porto where I explored by walking up and down the steep hills in the historic part of town. Porto is a rather grimy looking town but the more I explored the more it grew on me. Though I didn’t know a word of Portugese, I really enjoyed my time there aside from the cafe food which I did not care for all that much. Porto has excellent opportunities for street photography. I’d imagine that someone who eats, sleeps and breathes street photography more than a generalist like myself could really do great work here.

Porto is best-known for its port wine as it originated from here. I bought back a 20 year-old Sandeman Tawny Porto for Samantha.
