    Nice image. I like the pastels. That’s a great Thoreau quote too. I’ve heard it could be just as easily applied to Walden Pond itself now because the place is overrun by people visiting the place rather than finding their own corner of solitude.

    Thanks David. I’ve been to Walden Pond also but it was frozen over at the time if I remember correctly. It’s also surrounded by some busy roads so I’m sure it’s not quite like it used to be.

    Indeed, lovely image and I’m a sucker for calm water reflections.

    Dittos on what David said. I visited Walden Pond last June and couldn’t even park it was so damned crowded there. Traffic jams, massive congestion and a helluva lotta people. It was rather a bummer.
