Fall Color Along Merced River, Yosemite National Park, California

The fall color in Yosemite is beautiful this year. I’m no tree expert but the maple leaves were mostly yellow along the road just up from the park entrance up past El Capitan Meadow. From what I had read online, I didn’t have high hopes of photographing colorful foliage but the color became increasingly vibrant during my time in Yosemite so that was a pleasant surprise.

    So glad you did get fall colors. The yellows with the cool blue of the shadows is a great contrast.
