The most famous geyser in the world and the first iconic landscape of the U.S. National Parks system, Old Faithful is neither the tallest nor the most frequently erupting geyser in Yellowstone National Park but it is appropriately named due to the consistency of the eruptions which currently happen every 90 minutes. The park rangers are able to predict the times within ten minutes and post their predictions inside of the Upper Geyser Basin visitor center.
