Mapcap is a restaurant that specializes in Japanese-influenced cuisine. The restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Marin County to be honored with a Michelin star. Chef Ron Siegel's career highlights prior to Madcap include a stint as Executive Chef at Michael Mina San Francisco and was a sous chef at The French Laundry under the legendary Thomas Keller.

I visited Madcap in 2018, right before the restaurant received their first Michelin star. The food was innovative and had a whimsical feel to it. I really enjoyed this experience.
