Aerial photography is the art of capturing captivating images from high altitudes using drones, helicopters, or airplanes. It is an essential technique that has gained immense popularity in recent times. The advancement in technology and the increasing accessibility of aerial photography has allowed photographers and businesses to explore the world from a unique perspective.

The demand for aerial photographs has seen a significant rise across various industries. Real estate agents and construction companies now rely on aerial images to gain a comprehensive view of properties and construction sites. Marketing professionals are incorporating aerial pictures to create eye-catching campaigns and advertisements. Furthermore, city planners, environmental scientists, and even filmmakers utilize aerial photography to gather important data and create stunning visual effects.

One of the major benefits of using aerial photographs for sale is the ability to present an all-encompassing view of landscapes, architecture, or events. These images provide viewers with a broader perspective, allowing them to appreciate the scale and beauty of a subject that may be otherwise difficult to conceptualize. Whether it's showcasing a sprawling property, highlighting unique geographical features, capturing awe-inspiring aerial views of cities, or documenting special occasions from a different angle, aerial photographs offer a fresh and captivating way to view the world.

These professional drone photos were made with a DJI Air 2S drone. I'm a FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot. For the same reason you probably don't want to share the road with unlicensed drivers, airplane pilots don't want to share airspace with unlicensed drone pilots (neither does the FAA). The dirty little secret in photography however is that the majority of photographers are not certified to fly a drone in the U.S., and many use them in a manner that is prohibited. Flying in designated wilderness areas is illegal as is hovering flying over large groups of people and vehicles. When seeking out a "professional drone pilot" for commercial work or licensing, check to make sure they actually do act in a professional manner.

The rest of these aerial photos were made while on commercial airline flights. When possible, I try to time my flights for the edges of the day and grab a window seat so I can witness and photograph the best light.
