Hall of Mosses Panoramic

Olympic National Park, Washington

Hoh Rain Forest Panoramic, Olympic National Park, Washington

I previously visited the Hoh in 2001 with my family and had been wanting to photograph it for many years prior to this visit. During that first visit it rained non-stop during my entire visit. The Hoh Rain Forest is the rainiest location in the continuous 48 states after all with an average of 140 inches of rain per year. On this visit however, there was no rain so I visited before sunrise in order to photograph the forest in diffused soft lighting.

The Hall of Mosses is a popular hiking trail located in the Hoh Rainforest within Olympic National Park. The trail is a quarter of a mile long and winds through a dense forest of Sitka spruce and western hemlock, covered in a lush layer of moss and ferns. The trail takes visitors through old growth forest and offers a glimpse into the unique ecology of the Pacific Northwest rainforest. The trail is considered easy and accessible for visitors of all ages and abilities. Along the trail, visitors can expect to see a variety of plant and animal life, including mosses, ferns, and salamanders. It's a great place to explore the natural beauty and serenity of the park and the rainforest.

Museum-Quality: Limited Edition TruLife® Acrylic Face Mount Print - Ready To Hang

Museum-Quality: Limited Edition TruLife® Acrylic Face Mount Print - Ready To Hang

The most luxurious of fine art prints, TruLife® Acrylic face mount prints have a 3d-like appearance due to the print being sandwiched between museum-quality acrylic and a solid backer medium. The paper is specifically made for face mounted prints and features a pearl-like luminescence. When light hits the acrylic, it refracts through the artwork and gives off an appearance of having been illuminated from within. These are the most vibrant and detailed prints I offer. Acrylic prints are best suited for hanging in homes.

This hand-polished, ready-to-hang print includes a 1/8" acrylic face mount with a clear acrylic or Comatex backing and a back mounted floating frame.

Limited to a small edition size of 25 prints, these digitally-signed and numbered prints come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity that has been affixed with our hologram system. The COA will be mailed separately.

Prices may increase significantly as the edition gets closer to selling out which will increase the value for collectors. Once this edition has sold out then this photo will be permanently retired from printing. This is truly the highest-value fine art print that I can offer for art collectors.
