The Hoh Rainforest is characterized by its temperate climate, abundant rainfall, and moss-covered trees, creating a magical and otherworldly atmosphere. This temperate rainforest forest receives more than 100 inches of rain annually and is the wettest location in the lower 48 states. The trees predominantly consist of sitka spruce and western hemlock. Due to the amount of precipitation the largest trees can grow to enormous sizes in excess of 300 feet in height. The most popular attraction in this forest is The Hall of Mosses Trail.
